With his sketch book and pen Terry Cripps has used the vision of the abstract artist to relay the atmosphere and place that is this jewel on the north bank of the River Severn.
Overheard conversations, liaisons, glimpses and the fabric of the town have been interpreted into vibrant, witty and at times uncomfortable inventions to tease the mind.
With the opportunity to continue the show for another month, Terry Cripps will return to continue his observations at the height of summer when the character and mood of Newnham will have changed.
The George was completely rehung for the occasion.
